Files you upload

When you validate an ONIX file, it is uploaded over HTTPS to our validation service, held in an isolated temporary location only while your request is processed, and deleted when processing completes. We do not intentionally retain uploaded files or validation reports.

Usage analytics

With your browser's standard scripts enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. We never attach file contents, file names, ISBNs, titles, or other book metadata to analytics events. Validation events carry only broad categories such as file-size ranges and error-count ranges.

Accounts and personal data

The validator requires no account and collects no sign-up information. We do not set advertising cookies.
